The summer is especially beautiful in the Kuusamo region, as it hosts dramatic landscapes, untouched nature, and views to kill for. But in addition to the most beautiful scenery, Kuusamo has the worst, ugliest, and damn right raunchy place names. To non-Finns, they might sound just exotic, but Tussulampi and Pierusuo might make you blush or laugh or maybe both. We combined these ugly names with beautiful photo footage and sweet, family-oriented, and pseudo-innocent headlines – and of course, a tagline to open up the whole concept.
